4: DOMAIN AND RANGE FROM GRAPHS OF FUNCTIONS: EXAMPLES

    Graph

To find the domain :
Read the first x from where the graph starts at the left
and move right until finding the x where the
graph ends to the right.
The domain is the interval between the two x's
and can be written as x E[-6.28, 3.14].

                Graph

To find the range :
Read the lowest y from the graph, down where the graph starts,
(the minimum value) and move up until y reaches the highest
point of the graph, (the maximum value).
The range is the interval between the 2 y's and
can be written as y E [-3, 6].
